(Fort Lauderdale, FL) October 27, 2009 - Deadline for the 6th Annual IAMA (International Acoustic Music Awards) is fast approaching. IAMA (International Acoustic Music Awards) promotes excellence in acoustic music performance and artistry. Acoustic artists in various genres can gain exciting radio and web exposure through this competition. Russian Fashion Week Inaugurated First Fashion Museum in Moscow

MOSCOW, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Moscow's most renowned Russian Fashion Week (RFW) yet closed this weekend with a fully packed RFW after-party in The Most club, leaving behind 7 days with 58 collections by the best designers from Russia and ex-USSR countries along with fashion designers from the USA, Spain, Italy and Malaysia. DJ Alexandra Richards, daughter of Keith Richards from Rolling Stones, spinned the discs in the club on RFW closing night.

RFW SS/10, which took place in the Congress Hall of the World Trade Center, was officially opened last week by Alexander Avdeev, the Minister of Culture of Russia with the inauguration of Russian Fashion Museum, an unprecedented nationwide project backed up with Ministry of Culture of Russia. Russian Fashion Museum is the first of its kind in Russia, and it is going to be launched in 2010. The basic collection of the just-created Russian Fashion Museum counts more that 30,000 pieces, including costumes of XV-XX centuries, unique fabrics, fashion sketches, fashion photos, etc. Famous Russian designer Slava Zaitsev donated a few classic haute couture dresses of the 1980s to the Russian Fashion Museum.

HARLEM FUSION SCORES ANOTHER HIT WITH SOUL SHACK URBAN MUSIC SHOWCASE

October 2009 - - Atlanta, GA - Soul Shack Urban Music Showcase held its debut on Thursday October 22, 2009. Executive Produced by Shakesha Dennis-Williams of Harlem Fusion, Creator and former producer of Soul Sessions, the showcase features the hottest unsigned urban musicians from around the country performing for one of the sexiest most eclectic crowds in Atlanta. The success of Soul Shack is due mainly to the caliber of performances seen at the showcase.

The show kicked off with a rousing performance by band Elevate the Quest featuring vocalist Trece. This band is quickly becoming an Atlanta can be seen weekly at Café Circa. The showcase was hosted by the always funny and lively Dwayne Williams.  Rapper Big Jenk gave a rousing performance for the crowd. Next, Avery Floyd performed an original piece. Rap duo 2 Xclusive gave the crowd lots of energy while Matt Griswold performed some acoustic pieces reminiscent of John Mayer and Asher Roth. R&B sensation, The DooWhopBoiz brought down the house and serenaded the crowd while Hip Hop Trio Kollege Kids gave us a slow jam. Mr. Kalarific brought his brand of dirty south hip hop 40 West hooked the crowd up with his own version of Floetry's "Say Yes". Daya Lorin tore it down with two acapella Gospel pieces and Joseph Anthony made the stage his own with his original songs.
