SARAH KISER

Sarah Kiser, born in 1973, is a full time, self taught professional artist and works out of her home studio. Her styles and interests are diverse, ranging from realistic portraits to earthy and organic abstract pieces that usually center on motherhood themes. Fairies, mermaids, and portraits, usually of women are her main interest. Sarah has been interested in art since she was a little girl.

She comes from a long line of artists on both sides of her family. Having taken only the usual art classes in high school, Sarah is entirely self taught. Some of her inspirations are Matisse, Chagall, Van Gogh, Gaughuin, Klmit, and Frida Kahlo. Sarah enjoys using all different media to create her paintings but mainly uses acrylic paint and has recently gotten interested in digital art.

Sarah has two boys, a golden retriever and a big fat cat and lives with her husband and family in beautiful and sunny Fort Myers, Florida. Sarah's artwork can be seen at Island Visions, in Matlacha, Florida as well as Island Girl, in Fort Myers Beach, Florida.
