Lia Schorr Spa opens its doors for the ‘Vanier Spa event’ to benefit The Breast Cancer Foundation.
November 17, 2009 (NYC) On Saturday November 7th, Vanier Spa event hosted their first fundraiser benefitting The Breast Cancer Foundation in Manhattan at the Lia Schorr Spa at 686 Lexington Avenue. Lia Schorr true philanthropist at heart was gracious enough to open her doors for a day of treatments as ladies from the Tri-State area hoarded the hallways and front entrance of her spa in excitement to await their day of pampering at this prestigious and luxurious, yet tucked away mid-town Manhattan spa. Women showed up early, eagerly changing out of their clothes to slip into a comfy robe and slippers while they enjoyed some refreshments and an open bar including the tantalizing ‘Pink Passion Martini’. Participants had such treatments as: Manicures, Pedicures, Facials and Massages courtesy of Lia Schorr, Make-up applications from Celebrity Make-up artist Michele Bell and Hair cut and style from Sally Hershberger and Riccardo Maggiore and guests were sure to not leave without first grabbing a jammed packed gift bag full of spa goodies.
Celebrities and socialites joined the men and women to show their support along with breast cancer survivors. Sarah Hartshorne from ‘America’s Next Top Model’ and Nick Brown from the ‘Real World’ hosted the event along with a special speech from Samantha Daniels (Author and celebrity Match Maker) who spoke on ‘dating tips for our current generation’. Some of the other special guests that trickled in during the evening included: Anthony Stallone (Boxer), Vinny Vella (Sopranos), Natasha Gomes (Artist), and XL.
Thanks to the over flow of dedication and support from the press, media and our sponsors that made the event possible; Lia Schorr Spa, JT talent, Ed Hardy Vodka, Heat Energy Drink, G’Vine, Marina Vorobyev PR, Veronica Lee Anne PR and many others...
